What kinds of videos is Semence for?
Any video where people talk: podcasts, YouTube videos, interviews, shows and live streams, training, courses, talks, webinars, coaching, debates, testimonies or sermons. You pick the video type and Semence adapts what it looks for: a question and its answer for an interview, a method for a course, a story for a testimony…
Do I need to install anything?
No. Semence runs in your browser, on computer and phone alike. Create your account and send your first video.
Which videos can I send?
A YouTube link (including the replay of a finished live stream) or a video file: MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WEBM and most camera formats. For better captions, use clean audio (lavalier mic, mixing desk or audio interface) rather than the camera's built-in mic.
My podcast has several hosts: is everyone framed properly?
Yes. Semence detects who is speaking: the vertical frame moves to whoever has the floor, and each voice can have its own caption color. When two people talk at once, a wide shot keeps everyone in view.
I'm a YouTuber: can I start from a video that's already online?
Yes, just paste its YouTube link. You get captioned Shorts, Reels and TikToks with your logo, your caption style and a hook title, ready to post to bring new subscribers to your long videos.
Trainer, coach or company: does my content stay private?
Yes. Each account only sees its own videos, nothing is posted on your behalf, and you can delete your videos and data at any time. Your paid courses are never shown to other customers.
How are the 60 free minutes counted?
We count the length of the processed video: a 40-minute video uses 40 minutes. You can also process just an excerpt. The counter resets on the 1st of every month.
Can I edit the suggested clips?
Yes, even from your phone. The editing studio lets you adjust the start and end, cut a passage, fix a caption word, move the text, change the framing, the logo or the volume. You always keep the final say.
Which languages are supported?
English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian and more: Semence detects the language of your video and writes titles, descriptions and hashtags in that language. Captions can also be translated, for example a French video with English captions. Every word stays editable before you post.
I edit videos for clients: is that possible?
Yes. Editors, agencies and studios use the Team plan for large volumes, with one style template per client (logo, colors, caption position). Contact us for a network or a custom offer.
Are my videos safe?
Each account only sees its own videos. Connections are encrypted, and you can download or delete your data at any time from “My account”.
Can I change plans?
Yes, at any time. Once on a paid plan, the clips you re-render no longer have a watermark.
